After advancing to the championship games in their respective divisions, the Bow Falcons and Concord Christian Academy Kingsmen led area girls’ soccer programs with the most postseason accolades. The New Hampshire Soccer Coaches Association released full All-State lists, major award winners and Lions Cup roster selections on Monday.

Concord Christian had the most First Team selections of any area team with three Division IV First Team picks - senior midfielder Lilli Carlile, junior goalkeeper Kate Smith and junior midfielder Makayla Baglio. The trio led the Kingsmen to their first championship appearance in program history, narrowly losing to defending champions Profile, 1-0.

Bow had two First Team picks, senior midfielder Lexi Insana and senior defender Abby Foote, while the Falcons also swept the coaches awards. Head coach Jay Vogt was named the Division II Coach of the Year and Jess Allison was named D-II’s JV Coach of the Year. Bow fell to defending champions Hollis-Brookline, 1-0, in the D-II championship game.

Pembroke had the most overall All-State and Honorable Mention selections of local teams with a combined five picks. Head coach Jess Kaufman-Desrochers, who just wrapped up her 15th season as the Spartans’ head coach, won the Preston Eames Award, which “recognizes an individual who has been dedicated and contributed to improving the sport of soccer in the state of New Hampshire,” according to the N.H. Soccer Coaches Association website. Kaufman-Desrochers also serves as the secretary and board member for the coaches association.

The Hopkinton Hawks earned two First Team selections - senior forward Isabella Serzans and senior midfielder Kennedy Mark. The Hawks reached the D-III quarterfinals this season.

Foote and Insana were also named to New Hampshire’s Lion Cup squad, along with John Stark’s Lexi Boudreau, Pembroke’s Lindsey Jones and Bailey Gatchell, Coe-Brown’s Maggie Escabi, Merrimack Valley’s Corinne Palhof and Kearsarge’s Carly Grant.

The Lions Cup is an annual all-star game between the top seniors from New Hampshire and Vermont that is played each June. Vogt was one of four coaches chosen to lead the Granite State team.
