Monadnock led 4-2 before Ammann scored on a Charron sacrifice fly and an RBI single scored Aiden Clay to tie the game, 4-4. The Huskies scored the game-winning runs on three consecutive hits in the bottom of the sixth. Hopkinton freshman Jack Bennet played well in his varsity debut at third base.

Highlights: The Giants and Eagles had a pitcher’s duel between Bryson and Gilford’s Bella Dow in a rematch of last year’s Division III quarterfinal. The game was scoreless through the bottom of the sixth, but Brady was able to get the bases loaded, and Archambault and Mundy had big hits to drive in runs to secure the victory on Thursday.
