In the second half, Farr played a great through ball that Van Dyke ran on to and hit a great shot over the head of Pembroke keeper. Five minutes later, Gelinas sent a nice cross in the box that Kennedy flicked with her head just inside the far post.

Coach’s quote: “Always an exciting game with Pembroke. Will be honest: It was not a good first half for the Falcons, who could have easily been down 3-1 if not for some heroics from Gwen and Charlotte. Second half was a lot better; we cleaned up our game and were rewarded.” – Bow’s Jay Vogt

Allberg once again played solid in all elements of the game, Chudoba was steady at the libero position, Austin played well as an outside hitter with some steady passing and Shelby orchestrated the offense at the setter position.

Coach’s quote: “Today was a great team effort. Lots of contributions from a little bit of everyone at times. We just need to learn how to finish and keep our composure when things go sour. Part of that is experience, we’ll get there eventually.” – MV’s Tom Clark

Records: John Stark 6-4; MV 0-10
