On Saturday, July 8, over 500 attendees gathered at the edge of Lake Winnipesaukee to cheer on participants in boats, personal watercrafts, and vehicles as they took part in the HK Powersports Land & Lake Poker Run. Easterseals NH has successfully raised $1.7 million over the event’s twenty-two-year history raising over $100,000 this year. This directly supports its core programs for children and adults throughout the Granite State.

“Over the years, Poker Run has raised more than $1.7 million for Easterseals programs that people depend on for child care, in-home care, veterans services, and so much more,” said Maureen Beauregard, President and CEO of Easterseals NH, VT & Farnum. “It’s a remarkable event for the impact it makes and the entertainment it provides for hundreds of Lakes Region visitors. Thanks to our volunteer committee and event volunteers who help make this happen each year.”

To close out the day, hundreds of attendees and participants enjoyed a beach party at The NASWA Resort’s NazBar, which included a live raffle, hot buffet, music, and entertainment under bright, sunny skies.

Event sponsors include: HK Powersports, The NASWA Resort, Mix 94.1, Brady Sullivan Properties, Sea-Doo, SeaChoice, Amoskeag Beverages, Cohen Family, Plastic Distributors and Fabricators, INC., Bank of New Hampshire, Coca-Cola, Sysco, Baron’s Major Brands, East Coast Flightcraft, Belknap Subaru, Irwin Marine, South End Media, Bellman’s, North Water Marine, West Point Waste, Bio-Kleen, Paugus Bay Marina, Winnisquam Marine, Fireside Living, and True Storage.
