Letter: Squishy Republicans need to go

Last year, 68 so-called “Republicans” voted with 152 Democrats to pass HB 1291. Fortunately, we knew who they were because it was a roll call vote. Thankfully, one senator killed the bill when it crossed over. On March 13, “Republican” anarchists pushed through a number of damaging House bills on voice votes. Is there any state representative who, as an “unapologetic Republican,” would ever have the guts to remove these horrific bills from the consent calendar, speak against them and demand a roll call? Or are they just going to allow themselves to be steamrolled?
The Agenda 2030 disaster is now being pushed by builder and realtor lobbies, AFP-NH, NHLA, and the Free State crazies who are mainly the authors of these anarchist bills. These bills will definitely help “Mass up New Hampshire” in the way Gov. Ayotte described. Meanwhile, Ayotte is also complicit when she signs these bills. Call her office every day in protest at 603-271-2121. Somebody needs to stand up for the NH Advantage, local control and our single-family neighborhoods. We need to ignore the likes of carpet-baggers like Osborne (who thinks Town Meetings are bad), his cohorts Sweeney, Alexander and Berry and, of course, his enablers in the Senate: Murphy, McConkey, McGough and Innis. As for those 68 who voted with 152 Dems last year, you need to be primaried. The GOP helped create this mess by putting “housing” in the platform where it has no business.
