Letter: Pardons by the numbers

President Biden took 570 days off, working 60% of his term. In that time, he issued 8,064 pardons. Both numbers are a record for any sitting president. It may be upsetting to see people who are imprisoned for assaulting law enforcement freed, however, I wonder why Democrats never questioned the reasoning behind Biden’s pardon of the murderer of two FBI agents. How about a woman who killed three of her husbands? The Iraqi arms dealers? The money launderers? The drug dealers? The full list is available to peruse online and makes for fascinating reading. I suggest that anyone upset about the most recent pardons should take a look at the previous administration’s pardons first.
