A motorcyclist from Massachusetts is facing multiple charges after she allegedly evaded police, accelerating to over 120 mph on Interstate 93 Wednesday morning.

Juliana R. Gobbi, 18, of Brockton, was charged with reckless driving, disobeying a police officer and criminal mischief when police caught up with her in Campton, state police said in a press release.

State troopers received a report around 8:30 a.m. of a white motorcycle speeding and passing other vehicles unsafely while traveling northbound on the highway in Concord.

State police attempted to stop the motorcyclist, later identified as Gobbi, near Exit 23, but they say she didn’t stop and accelerated to 120 mph. The pursuit ended when troopers lost sight of the motorcycle.

Soon afterward, the motorcycle was again spotted speeding northbound in Ashland and then in Campton. Gobbi then reportedly used Exit 28 and troopers saw the motorcycle and Gobbi at a gas station along Route 49 nearby.

Troopers attempted to perform a traffic stop and Gobbi reportedly attempted to flee again, driving the motorcycle slowly in front of a stopped state police cruiser. She lost control of the motorcycle; she was not hurt.

Gobbi is set to appear in Plymouth District Court on Dec. 16.
