Motorcycles collide in Loudon; three people injured

Three people were taken to the hospital after their two motorcycles crashed on Route 106 in Loudon on Tuesday morning.

The crash happened around 11 a.m. The two motorcycles were going in opposite directions. No other vehicles were involved.

Speed was apparently not a factor, nor was alcohol or drugs, said Lt. Dana Flanders of the Loudon Police Department.  He said the injuries did not appear to be life threatening. 

Laconia Motorcycle Week is happening through this weekend, greatly increasing the number of motorcycles on New Hampshire roads, especially in the Lakes Region.
