Letter: Country in trouble

Mike Johnson, Trumpster, U.S. House speaker, tying aid to Ukraine to reform of our border policies, he has assured a victory for Putin as Putin has already doubled down on his attacks on Ukraine. To get a reformed border policy, it will take a lot of time and work. Ukraine doesn’t have time! Putin has already greatly intensified his attacks on Ukraine due to the fact the U.S. looks like it is backing out of support for Ukraine. Putin is more confident of victory over Ukraine. If Putin wins in this war, it opens Europe up to Putin retaking other former countries of the Soviet Union due to his increased confidence to do so. And then, what will NATO do? Give in and have Putin on their borders or fight war after war? Even if the war ends with a stalemate, if Ukraine comes out stronger, it will have better negotiating power.

If Mike Johnson and other Trumpsters are to sell out our European allies with this fatal mistake, imagine what Trump will do in making such fatal mistakes when someone disagrees with him and his chosen staff in other instances like, China and Taiwan. You don’t have to be a Democrat to vote against Trump. Like Stalin, Trump will get rid of his rivals and get the affection of vulnerable folks with his cult of personality. His primary lust for power guiding all, he could take down the country and leave Europe vulnerable by acting irrationally as he already has. You don’t have to love Biden, but there are many rational folks behind him to make decisions in the best interest of the U.S. and allies.
