Project S.T.O.R.Y. and the Empower Dance Company held their second annual dance recital Tuesday, featuring a dozen choreographed dances for girls ages 6 to 14 years old. The dance program through Project S.T.O.R.Y., which is a volunteer organization that supports culturally diverse children in Concord, is in its second year after girls in the after school program expressed a desire to participate in a dance classes, but found other local dance schools inaccessible, said Charm Emiko, the founder of Project S.T.O.R.Y.

Emiko’s daughter, Esha, 15, a life long dancer and helped her mom start the program, choreographed all the performances.
