An 18-year-old Piermont man has been identified as the suspect behind multiple instances of alleged unwelcome and inappropriate touching of women on the Dartmouth College campus last month.
William Menard, who was a temporary employee at the college, is accused of simple assault and is being sought on an arrest warrant in connection with the alleged incidents reported by women on Jan. 24, according to Hanover police.
Menard is identified as the suspect who allegedly “targeted women at random, reportedly grabbing their buttocks,” police said in a news release Friday afternoon. At the time the alleged assaults were first reported last month, police did not publicly name the suspect, describing him only as an employee who worked briefly at the college.
Police said four women were the victims of alleged touching by Menard.
