Pembroke postpones budget hearing in light of wintry forecast

Pembroke will delay its budget public hearing for one week in response to reports of inclement weather in the area this Thursday.

The meeting will now take place on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. at Pembroke Academy.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the National Weather Service forecast that Pembroke would get two to four inches of snow followed by freezing rain on Thursday, Feb. 6, when the meeting was initially scheduled.

Budget information is posted online by the Pembroke Budget Committee and the Pembroke School Board.
