1 dead after explosion in Weare Wednesday afternoon

A person is dead after a hydraulic tank exploded on B and B Lane in Weare on Wednesday afternoon.

No additional information was immediately available from the Weare Fire Department nor the State Fire Marshal, both of which remained on the scene of the explosion as of 4:15 p.m.

 B and B Lane houses a variety of industrial businesses, including mulch, construction, welding, diesel, and propane and oil companies, according to Google Maps.

WMUR reported the explosion occurred at Haynes Mulch.
