Highlights: The Falcons were led by their seniors to a commanding victory on senior night. Bow concludes its regular season on Friday at Lebanon.

Boys’ Hockey

Concord 8, Exeter 2

Key players: Concord – Tyler Fennelly (2 goals), Jaden Haas (goal, assist), Chad Laviere (2 assists), Michael Barry (2 assists), Nolan Walsh (goal), Cam Roy (goal), Trevor Craigue (goal), Tyler Mayo (goal), Lukas Rondiak (goal)

Highlights: Concord dominated the first period, scoring five goals to take a 5-0 lead. B0th teams scored in the second period, but the Tide tallied a pair in the third to close out the win. Concord plays its final regular season game on Saturday night at Salem.

Bowling

Team state championship

Highlights: The Coe-Brown Northwood Academy bowling team finished 10th in the regular season to earn a spot in Saturday’s NHIAA bowling team state championship, held at Strikers East Bowling Center in Raymond. The No. 10 Bears fell to No. 7 Merrimack in the preliminary round, 3-0, losing games by scores of 157-154, 182-110 and 201-122. Merrimack upset No. 2 Stevens in the quarterfinals, 3-2, and No. 3 Goffstown, 4-0, in the semifinals before falling to top-seeded Keene, 4-0, in the championship. Hillsboro-Deering, the only other area bowling program, finished 14th in the regular season standings, below the cutoff of 11 teams that qualified for the tournament.
