High schools: Concord, Brinity girls’ hockey continue win streaks, plus more results from Wednesday

Concord 6, Kingswood-Prospect Mountain 3
Key players: Concord – Kaylee DelloIacono (20 saves), Brooke Nelson (2 goals, 2 assists), Andie Moreira (2 goals, assist), Claire Brown (goal, 2 assists), Elliana Wing (goal)
Highlights: Kingswood got on the board first, but Concord quickly made it 4-1 by the end of the first period. Nelson led the Tide with four points, including a shorthanded 5-on-3 goal. Concord has won 10 in a row.

Bishop Brady-Trinity-Bow 3, Bedford 1
Key players: BBTB – Kaylee Jacques (goal, 2 assists), Audrey Starr (goal, assist), Pelletier (goal, assist)
Highlights: The Brinity Falcons fell behind early, but Jacques tied the game five minutes later and assisted on the game-winning goal five minutes after that. Leading 2-1 after the first period, Pelletier scored an insurance goal in the second period to lock up the team’s fifth straight win.

Highlights: Kennett was held to 18 points in each half which allowed the Falcons to pull away.

Highlights: MV fell into a hole in the third quarter, trailing by 16 points, but was able to cut it down to six points in the fourth quarter before ultimately falling on the road.

Highlights: Charbono hit a corner 3 to force overtime with less than 30 seconds remaining in regulation and made some timely buckets in the extra frame to keep the Kingsmen’s undefeated streak alive.

Highlights: The Tide closed out the regular season with a loss on the road to the powerhouse Timberlane. Next up for Concord is the Division I championship on Feb. 22 at Londonderry High School.
