High schools: Bow’s Thompson wins 2 events at Bobcat Invite swim meet, Brady-MV hockey wins again

Girls’ Swimming

Bobcat Invitational

Key players: Bow – Lena Thompson (1st 100 fly in 1:02.82, 1st 100 free in 56.95 seconds, 2nd 100 back in 1:02.87), Emily Hou (5th 100 breast), Ava Popielarz (8th 100 free, 12th 50 free, 13th 100 back), Molly Key (16th 100 breast); Belmont  – Maddie Wineriter (6th 100 breast, 9th 200 free); Pembroke – Riley Pope (11th 200 free)

Highlights: Thompson led the Falcons with a pair of victories at the 24-team Bobcat Invitational at the University of New Hampshire on Sunday. This concludes the regular season for Bow, who will compete in the Division II state championship on Feb. 15 at UNH.
