Boys’ Basketball

Franklin 55, Wilton-Lyndeborough 52

Key players: Franklin – Harrison Kaplan (23 points), Nate Holmes (9 points), Matt Carlsen (7 points)

Highlights: The Tornadoes didn’t have their best game of the season, but played well enough in the second half to win back-to-back games for the first time this season. The game was tied 22-22 at halftime, but the Tornadoes scored 17 points in the third quarter to take a 39-37 lead heading into the fourth. Franklin has won three of its last four.

Highlights: The Raiders dropped their first game of the season on the road against the Cougars.

Highlights: After a 5-5 opening quarter, Stevens pulled away to lead 10-6 at halftime and 21-11 at the end of the third.

Mount Royal 31, Pittsfield 28

Key players: Mt. Royal – Lucy Treece (19 points); Pittsfield – Ashley Clark (7 points), Savannah Chagnon (6 points), Alivia Lavigne (5 points)

Highlights: Mount Royal led 23-22 heading into the third quarter and outscored the Panthers in the final quarter to secure the victory in a game that was tightly contested throughout the night.
