High schools: Bow girls take 4th at Oyster River Invite, Sunday’s swimming and indoor track results

Bow 4th, John Stark 13th
Key players: Bow – Lena Thompson (1st 50 free in 26.42 seconds, 1st 100 fly in 1:01.93), Ava Popielarz (2nd 200 IM, 4th 100 breast), Emily Hou (6th 200 IM), 200 medley relay (5th), 200 free relay (5th), 400 free relay (5th); John Stark – Hailey Leung (6th 100 breast)
Highlights: Thompson won two events and the Falcons finished in the top five of all three relays to finish fourth out of 17 teams at the Oyster River Holiday Invitational at the University of New Hampshire’s Swasey Pool on Sunday. Oyster River (260), Dover (193), Exeter (170), Bow (137) and St. Thomas (132) were the top five teams. John Stark was 13th with 17 points. Emily Hou, Sabine Karanouh, Thompson, Popielarz, Maya Owen and Olivia Shippos contributed to the relays.
Coe-Brown 4th
Key players: Coe-Brown – Tucker Raymond (2nd 200 free, 2nd 500 free), Shea Raymond (3rd 50 free, 4th 100 free), 400 free relay (4th)
Highlights: The Bears finished fourth out of 15 teams at the Oyster River Holiday Invitational held at the University of New Hampshire’s Swasey Pool on Sunday. The Raymond brothers, Braydan Behr and Clemens Remi formed the winning 400-freestyle relay for Coe-Brown. Exeter (180), Oyster River (151) and Nashua South (146) were the top three teams, while Coe-Brown scored 81 points.
Concord 3rd
Key players: Concord – Grace Saysaw (1st 55 dash in 7.51 seconds), Ella Goulas (2nd high jump, 2nd long jump), Shelly Smith (2nd 1,000), Consuelo Borico (2nd shot put), Ballay Conteh (3rd long jump, 6th 55 dash), Chelsea Toenah (4th 55 dash), Bakela Massaquoi (5th 55 hurdles), Deborah Nishimwe (5th shot put), 4x160 (1st)
