A motorcyclist remains in critical condition after a crash with a pick-up truck in Epsom late Thursday afternoon.

The motorcycle became lodged under a white Chevy truck after they collided on Route 28 not far north of the Epsom Traffic Circle around 4:45 p.m. Epsom fire and police responded to the scene and the cyclist was transported to Concord Hospital in critical condition. The truck driver was uninjured.

Epsom Police were unable to provide further details about the cause of the crash, but Chief Brian Michael said that neither alcohol nor speed were factors and no criminal charges are expected.
