You don’t win a championship and have a perfect season without having great personnel behind it. That’s what the Division III champion Hopkinton Hawks had this season. Hopkinton junior midfielder Fin Murphy was named the Division III Player of the Year, Scott Zipke was named Coach of the Year and four more Hawks were named to All-State lists after completing a 19-0-1 season.

The New Hampshire Soccer Coaches Association released All-State lists on Monday.

NHSCA also released the Lions Cup roster for June’s annual all-star match between the top seniors from New Hampshire and Vermont. Zipke was one of five coaches chosen to lead team New Hampshire, which includes Bow’s Luke Hartshorn, Coe-Brown’s Bruce LaPierre and Merrimack Valley’s Joey Olivera.

Bow and Hopkinton tied for the most overall All-State and Honorable Mention picks among the Capital Area boys’ soccer programs with five selections each. Hopkinton senior defenders Noah Aframe and Nate Windhurst, Bow junior defender Ryan Dolder, and Belmont senior goalkeeper Jaxson Embree joined Murphy as the other local First Team selections.
