President Joe Biden is set to visit Concord on Tuesday with an official White House event at NHTI.

It is his first trip back to the state since stepping out of the presidential race in August.

He last visited the Granite State in May, with a speech in Nashua to talk about the success of the PACT Act, which addressed toxin exposure and screenings, as well as breast and lung cancer.

Vice President Kamala Harris, who is now the Democratic nominee for president after Biden’s deferral, made her first and only campaign stop so far in New Hampshire last month.

At an event in North Hampton, she pitched her plan to support small businesses, which included expanding tax incentives for startup expenses.

Harris currently leads former President Donald Trump in state polling. In early October, the New Hampshire Institute for Politics at Saint Anslems College found that Harris was ahead by 7 percentage points, 51 percent to 44 percent.

Biden’s visits to the Granite State follow an unusual start to voting, when the president chose to bypass New Hampshire’s traditional first-in-the-nation primary. While he still won the state’s nomination, his name was not on Democratic ballots, with supporters launching a grassroots write-in campaign instead.
