The 91st Annual Craftsmen’s Fair will take place at the Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury from August 3-11. The fair is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.

The Annual Craftsmen’s Fair began in 1933 and runs for nine days each year, featuring the juried work of hundreds of members with sales booths, interactive demonstrations, and curated exhibitions attracting over 20,000 visitors annually.

Part of what makes the Annual Craftsmen’s Fair experience so memorable are the daily craft demonstrations. Every day at the fair, you can watch different master craftsmen and craft guilds transform raw materials into finished pieces of functional art before your eyes. You will receive first-hand insight into the creative process and the range of techniques craftsmen use.

Every day there will be engaging demonstrations including artistic blacksmithing, woodworking, stained glass, quilting, pewter casting, beaded jewelry making, pottery (stoneware and raku pots), needle felting, woodburning, cyanotypes, rug hooking and much more!
