Letter: Safety and inclusion should drive Loudon Road

The Model T is long past. Road safety, neighborhood inclusion, and safe access to businesses should drive any Loudon Road discussion and project.

A Loudon Road from Airport Road/ Hazen Drive heading east consisting of two lanes with a center turn lane is not only reasonable, but, in my opinion, is safer and will help to bring together the neighborhoods on both sides of a divisive four lane road, which is more like a highway. The salutary effects of a reconfigured Loudon Road are, in my opinion, a win-win for safety, businesses, and neighborhood inclusion.
