Join me in voting for Tara Reardon on Sept. 10 as we cast our state primary votes for State Senate District 15 (Bow, Concord, Hopkinton). Of all the good candidates running, Tara is the most experienced and qualified candidate. Let me tell you why. Tara has years of legislative and executive branch experience combined with boots-on-the-ground organizing experience that separate her from all the other candidates. Tara’s unwavering ability to work across the aisle with and find reasonable compromise without sacrificing her values is her super power. I witnessed this ability first-hand in my work with Tara at the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund. Tara worked and advocated for marginalized manufactured housing communities to support their rights to secure their homes and neighborhoods, and preserve affordable housing across the state.

When some of those same rights were under threat, Tara rolled up her sleeves and built strong bipartisan relationships with state lawmakers to ensure that affordable homeownership was protected and preserved. Tara brings all that experience and passion to her many community service roles, from chairperson of the board of the local crisis center to serving as chairperson of the Merrimack County Board of Commissioners. Tara’s savvy business sense and passion for public service, coupled with her ability to work with every stakeholder, means that issues won’t be stalemated with inaction.
