Letter: Safer roadways

Published: 01-18-2024 3:43 PM

The horrific traffic situation has been amplified in the past couple of years or more in Concord. Many people moving north overcrowding our roadways, too many impatient drivers, too many drivers talking on the phone and not paying attention to driving, too many drivers speeding. Please slow down and pay attention.

Another suggestion is when approaching or in one of the numerous new/ older traffic roundabouts in the Concord/ Penacook area, please consider using your blinkers to let the yielded traffic see where you are going. Is it also possible to have signs, blinking lights, etc. installed saying “Use your blinkers also in all roundabouts.” It is very helpful to let the yielded drivers know where you intend to go. Let’s all try and make the roads safer for drivers, passengers and walkers. Slow down and pay attention please.
