Concord firefighters rescue truck from Merrimack River

Concord Firefighters were called to the NHTI Boat Launch for a reported “truck in the water.” Charles Robert was attempting to have a fishing day when his tow rope caught around the wheels while it was rolling backwards. He sustained no injuries. Lt Randell and Firefighter Fallon from the Heights fire station Engine 7 went into the water with dive suits to hook the truck to be pulled out and held in place with Concord Fire’s Heavy Rescue truck until the wrecker truck could finish the job.
