Police seek public’s help to locate missing 70-year-old man last seen walking in Concord Monday evening

Concord Police are seeking the public’s help to locate a 70-year-old man, who suffers from dementia and was last seen walking near South Main Street in Concord Monday evening. 

Authorities issued a silver alert Monday evening to locate Steven Ironside, who was walking away from the Harris Hill nursing home at 20 Maitland Street on October 21, 5:45 p.m.

He is 5 feet 10 inches tall, with gray hair, blue eyes and weighs about 240 pounds, police said.

Ironside was wearing black shorts, a North Face jacket, and Sketcher shoes. He was carrying a black backpack and a Market Basket bag.

 Ironside suffers from dementia and has additional health issues, his family said.
