Man killed in Concord motorcycle crash, passenger critically injured

One person was killed and another was left in critical condition after the pair were struck while riding their motorcycle on Loudon Road Sunday afternoon. 

Police responded to the area of Friendly’s restaurant on Loudon Road around 5 p.m. for reports of a motor vehicle crash that occurred when a vehicle pulled out of the restaurant and collided with a motorcycle, police said. 

The operator of the motorcycle and the passenger were initially taken to Concord Hospital. However, the male operator of the motorcycle was pronounced dead and the passenger was flown by medical helicopter to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in critical condition. The operator and passenger of the vehicle were treated at Concord Hospital for minor injuries and released.

Police have not named the driver of the vehicle or the deceased motorcycle operator. An investigation into the incident remains active and ongoing.
