Letter: Joe Biden is no FDR

Contrary to the mainstream narrative, Joe Biden is no FDR. He will go down in history as one of the worst U.S. presidents, and along with Antony Blinken, as one of the most reckless and dangerous men in modern times. Both are complicit in a preventable genocide in Gaza that they could have halted at any time and that Donald Trump somehow managed to stop before even becoming president. Britain’s “Lancet” estimates the war in Gaza has now killed 300,000 people. Israel is now a pariah state, while the US has lost whatever shred of moral standing it may once have claimed. This situation may yet be prelude to war on Iran.

Then there is Ukraine. There were multiple opportunities to prevent the war in Ukraine well before it began and multiple opportunities to end it since. The war has cost an estimated million lives – mostly Ukrainian – so far. At every turn, Biden and Blinken thwarted diplomacy and peace efforts. As their final act, they authorized the Kiev regime to fire missiles into Russia, escalating our war against Russia. Biden brought the world closer to nuclear annihilation to prolong a war that should never have been fought and cannot be won.

Its root cause, as George Kennan, William Perry and others warned, is U.S. insistence on the aggressive encroachment of Cold War relic NATO on Russia’s border, in a vain effort to reassert failing U.S. dominance over an unfolding multi-polar world.
