In an investigation that spanned three states, a Concord man has been arrested and charged with 11 felonies related to online child sexual abuse images, police said Tuesday.
Austin Holton, 29, faces seven counts of possession of child sexual abuse images, two counts of criminal solicitation for the manufacture of child sexual abuse images and two counts for prohibited uses of computer services.
Concord police were notified by the sheriff’s department in Marshall County, Indiana in July that someone they believed to be in Concord had tried to “entice and solicit explicit content” from female minors. A similar complaint led to the discovery of another victim in Belgrade, Montana, who was found and interviewed by the Belgrade Police Department. An investigation with assistance from the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force led to Holton’s arrest on Tuesday.
He refused the services of a bail commissioner and is set to be arraigned in Concord District Court on Wednesday.
