I could not help being sadly amused by the irony of the final quotation in the article, “Republicans propose 15-week abortion ban.”

One of the co-sponsors of the tightened ban, Cyril Aures, is reported to have said about our new governor, “Whatever she decides, I respect her decision.” That should be what any person says about any woman and her health care.
